ChildGuard

Every page starts with a question. You decide the answer.

When your child opens a website or an app, the device first asks where to find it. ChildGuard answers that question: what you allow opens, what you don't never starts.

Three steps and you're set

  1. Pair the device

Enter the 8-character code from the parent dashboard on your child's phone or computer.

  2. Choose groups

Adult content, gambling, social media, games – or a single service such as TikTok or Roblox. No need to block websites one by one.

  3. Your child can ask

If they land on a blocked page, they can ask you. Allow it for 15 minutes, an hour, today or for good – or say no.

Apple protects user data strictly, so some things are not possible on iPhone and iPad. We would rather tell you up front than promise more.

We deliberately don't monitor messages or calls: it isn't possible on Apple devices, and the people your child talks to deserve privacy too.

What we see, and what we don't

We see
the names of addresses your child tries to open, such as youtube.com, and whether they were allowed.
We don't see
page contents, messages, passwords or photos.
Doesn't pass through us
the traffic itself: only address lookups reach our server, so browsing doesn't slow down.

Questions

What do I need?

An iPhone, iPad, Mac or a Windows 10/11 computer. Apple devices also need Family Sharing with your child's account set up as a child account.

Can my child switch it off?

They can try. If filtering stops, or a device hasn't reported for hours, you get an alert.

Does it slow the internet down?

Not noticeably. Only address lookups go to our server; videos, downloads and pages load directly.

When will the apps be available?

The Windows client comes first, followed by the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps.
